Harford Mutual Insurance Group Named to RISE Elite 50 Internships List

Harford Mutual Insurance Group’s Internship Program has been named on the Rising Insurance Star Executives (RISE) 2023 Elite 50 Internships list, an annual program recognizing the top 50 internship programs in the insurance industry across the U.S.

Elite 50 Internship submissions are judged on several key criteria, including comprehensive professional development programs, opportunities for skill enhancement and real-world experience, commitment to diversity and inclusion, mentorship and networking opportunities, innovative learning environments, and outstanding compensation and benefits. This is the fourth year in a row that Harford Mutual has been named to the list.

Harford Mutual’s internship program was launched in 2013. Over the years, more than 50 young professionals have interned in multiple departments at Harford Mutual, including Information Technology, Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial, Accounting, and Marketing. Harford Mutual’s Internship Program runs each year from June through early August. During the eight-week program, interns work with employees and managers within their departments assigned and have the opportunity for direct interaction with senior leadership. A total of 17 interns have become full-time employees.
