Harford Mutual Insurance Group Employees Honored at Annual Awards Event
Harford Mutual Insurance Group recently celebrated the accomplishments of more than 50 employees at our 2022 Professional Development Awards event, held at Maryland Golf and Country Clubs.
Harford Mutual honored seven employees who received industry designations from The Institutes, the continuing education provider of the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (AICPCU). As the leading provider of coursework for the insurance industry, earning a designation from The Institutes is the most recognized identifier of subject knowledge mastery in the field.
Commercial Underwriters Daniel Gillen, Bethany Lenio, and Andrew Mastromanolis earned their Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) designations.
Commercial Underwriters Amani Simon-Chapman and Nicholas Rynes, Customer Service Representative Natasha Rebbert, and AVP of Marketing & Corporate Communications Stacey Rebbert earned their Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designations.
Also recognized was Claims Examiner Katie Lloyd, who earned the Workers’ Compensation Professional designation from the American Society of Workers Comp Professionals.
Harford Mutual also honored eight employees who completed specialized education courses in their respective fields. These employees earned the following certifications: Certified Safety Professional designation, Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence, Business Administration Certificate, Project Management Professional Certification, OSHA Authorized Trainer certification, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification, ITIL4 (IT Infrastructure Library) Foundation Certificate, and Certified Case Manager certification.
In addition, 15 employees who participated in various leadership development courses were also recognized. These leadership courses include The Lincoln Institute of Gettysburg, The Institutes Executive Leadership Program, The Dr. Nancy Grasmick Leadership Institute Professional Leadership Program for Women at Towson University, and Sandler Leadership Training.
Harford Mutual also recognized 20 employees who completed individual coursework in 2022 as part of an insurance or professional designation they are working toward or learning a new skill.
